Chateau de Grand Bos

Bourdeaux. Graves. 2001. A unique nose to say the least. Cardamon and white pepper tintillate the senses and encourage the lucky imbiber to drink deep. The nose does not mislead - the front of the tongue is immersed with strong, bitter, earthy sensations. These fall way to overall warmth not dissimilar to the sensations of a mild scotch or a fruitful brandy. The experience is full circle as remnants of cinnamon are left with hints of mild tobacco resting gracefully in the mouth.
