Tanbark Hill 2002
Spring Mountain, St Helena, Napa. 2002 hasn't been a standout in my opinion, but my first date with this 02 has been quite memorable. A very complex slurry of flavors. Cassis, licorice, tangy cheddar, prime rib coated with pepper and enough of a salty tinge to light your pallet up. Shane says it is spicy.

Clos Monlleó 2000
Sangenis I Vasqué. Priorat.
Started with a keen richness that portended a fine result. More fruity than expected in the end. I believe this could be a year issue. I now intend to research Priorat a bit more.
